What cookies are

Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage, do the same job. We use the word cookies here for all of them.

What this site uses

Essential storage: we record your cookie choice so the banner does not ask again, and we remember your scroll position while you move between pages during a visit. This is needed for the site to behave properly and is set whichever choice you make.

Optional storage: if you accept, we may use analytics to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from. Nothing analytical is loaded until you accept, and declining loads nothing.

Embedded content: our contact page shows a map, and our Thinking page links out to press features. Once you interact with embedded third-party content, that provider may set its own cookies under its own policy.

Changing your choice

Your choice is stored on your own device. Clearing your browser's site data for this site removes it and the banner will ask again on your next visit.

Your browser settings also let you block or delete cookies for any site. Blocking essential storage may stop parts of this site working as intended.
